Founded in 1910, AmblerFlowerShop has been an integral part of the greater Ambler, Philadelphia, Blue Bell, Ft Washington, Spring House, Lansdale, Norristown and surrounding community.  With a rich history and an exciting future. AmblerFlowerShop has gained the reputation for outstanding service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

About The Owners

Gene and Beth McGonagle are the owners of this family run business.  From a single location, Gene oversees the day to day operations working along side a team of experienced floral designers and a fleet of delivery vehicles that span out across the Philadelphia region every day.  Additionally, Gene will coordinate gift delivery nation wide by working with local gift shops or shipping personalized Baby Gifts. 

 

About The Staff

We are pleased to have a staff of highly skilled artists and designers. 

Victoria traveled the world as part of Disney on Ice and is working to finish her degree locally in creative arts.  She takes orders and creates beautiful arrangements. 

Jennifer earned her degree in horticulture from Temple University and also works at one of the local farm cooperatives.  She is a champion for helping local consumers buy & eat local.  A section of the farm is reserved for Jennifer to raise flowers we sell at the shop. 

Kelsey is studying at the Philadelphia School of Art & Design.  She creates our personalized piggy banks, step stools, rocking chairs and other related baby gifts.  Her work is amazing because each gift she paints is personal & made to order. 

Harry is our primary delivery professional and his knowledge of the area enables us to deliver our gifts on time.

Our commitment is to provide a convenient, friendly, timely and appropriate gift delivery service.  Our location in a small bustling town gives us access to more than what's on our website.  We will do our best to honor any special requests. 

HISTORY

Founded in 1910, the Ambler Flower Shop has been service the greater Ambler and Philadelphia region for more than 100 years.  The original shop was operated by the gardener who tended to the grounds of Dr Mattison, an industrial leader in the area whose vision helped create this great community.   

 

We encourage you to always shop local.  When you shop local, in any community, a larger portion of your money goes directly towards supporting little league, soccer, dance, theater and so many other youth and adult community activities.
